Top Ten 2010 Heisman Contenders (10-6)

Maybe Jacory Harris would have a better shot at the Heisman if he bought a shirt with two sleeves.

Maybe Jacory Harris would have a better shot at the Heisman if he bought a shirt with two sleeves.

I’ll go ahead and warn you now… This list contains seven quarterbacks. Mark Ingram may have bucked the recent trend by snatching the award back from the only guy that used to touch the ball every offensive play (before the wildcat formation spread like swine flu — thanks Razorbacks), but as you’ll see, he’ll have a hell of a time trying to win it again. Still, his position is the only other position on the list, and the wide receivers of the world might as well start campaigning for the Biletnikoff. There’s just no chance of winning this thing anymore unless you play under center or at least somewhere behind him.

So here we go. These 10 guys should be the only 10 with a shot at the stiff-arm this season. As always, if you disagree, give your fingers an extra pump and head on over to our NEW and IMPROVED FORUM by clicking the blue letters to the left of the end of this sentence, and tell us about it.

2010 College Football Pre-Season Awards

There’s only one problem… I don’t always agree with all of his picks.  Shocking, I know.

So, no disrespect to one of the Worldwide Leader’s best college football analysts, but I think I can do better.  Or at least I can pick guys that make more sense to me.  Funny how often that happens…

Anyway, without wasting any more time, here’s what we’ll call the DeeZee’s.  No, that’s horrible.  How about the Ultimaties?  Screw it, just read the list. [click to continue…]

The Big East isn’t known to have many elite football programs, they don’t have huge attendance figures, and not having a conference championship is so 2005. [...]

2010 Fantasy Football: Great Values

August 18, 2010

John Young, Special to DraftZoo
Fantasy football is all about value. Teams that win find the gems in the middle and late rounds that most people overlook, while bad teams are usually comprised of reaches and zero upside picks. No one can predict the future, but I can certainly try. Keep these guys in mind as [...]
