Could those uniforms look any more like New York's?

Despite the recent belief that all of the Big 12′s quarterbacks are gone, there are still a few who should garner some national attention.  Sure, Josh Freeman was drafted and Chase Daniel and Graham Harrell are giving the NFL a go, but it wasn’t an easy task picking a starter for the 2009 All-Big 12 team.  Guys like Sam Bradford, Todd Reesing, and Zac Robinson all had a shot.  But in the end, McCoy got it.  It was between him and Bradford, and McCoy won head-to-head last year.

Not all that surprising, however, is the fact that this team is dominated by the Big 12 South.  Kind of like the regular season.  19 of the 24 members were from the superior division.  Texas led all teams with six players, followed by Oklahoma (5), Oklahoma State (4), and Kansas (3).  Nebraska and Missouri were the only other North squads to represent with one apiece.  Texas A&M, Iowa State, Colorado, and Kansas State were the unlucky four who missed out on such a prestigious mention.  Though I did give major consideration to Dan and Cody Hawkins as the best father-son duo around.  Eventually the award went to Bill Snyder.  He’s older than both of them combined.
