Want a fun game? Count the number of Tebow pictures that end up on this site this year and multiply that number by 37. Then you'll end up with Nic Harris' 40 time.
Alright, all of the BCS All-Conference Teams are posted. There were some strong teams (the SEC and the Big 12), and there were some weak teams (the Big East and the ACC). Shocking stuff, right? But those conferences have been well represented here. The First team is in Bold. The Second team is in regular type. And the the Third Team is in italics. So there you go.
Taylor Mays is a popular pick at free safety, but as insane as he may be as a pro prospect, he’s not Major Wright when it comes to playing college ball. It’s tough to pick against Tebow as the quarterback, though I’m sure that plenty of people will. No matter how you go this year, it would a challenge to find a poor starter under center.
I like DeMarco Murray at one running back spot… a lot. When he’s healthy, he’s nearly unstoppable. Great hands out of the backfield, and extremely quick in the open field. Jahvid Best is probably one of the fastest players in the game. There’s not a more athletic wide receiver than Benn, and Dez Bryant isn’t far behind when it comes to body control.
And defensively, well it’s all SEC and Big 12. Which is something the rest of the country should get used to. It looks like the two conferences will decide the national title yet again. In fact, of the 26 starters, 21 are from one of those two leagues. The entire secondary is SEC.
The breakdown works out pretty topsided. 12 SEC players. 9 Big 12 players. Two each from the Pac 10 and Big Ten. One from the ACC, and a big goose egg from the Big East. Don’t worry though, there are some mid-majors and even a few South Florida guys in the lower ranks. Enjoy.
